Your data is stored on this device only and is not backed up automatically. You’re responsible for keeping your own backups — download one after adding photos. Browsers can clear site data, and backups may contain other people’s personal information, so store them securely.

Backups keep your original photo files exactly as added, including any location (GPS) data. Dispute Pack / ZIP export strips location from shareable copies by default.

Demo mode opens a separate sample tenancy. Your real records stay untouched and you can exit demo anytime.

1. What this app is

Tenancy Pack is a personal organising tool that helps Queensland renters keep entry photos, repair notes, messages, rent payments, notices, bond clean records and a timeline on their own device, and optionally assemble them into a printable pack. It is not a law firm, not a legal practice, and not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer or a tenancy advice service.

2. No lawyer–client relationship

Using the app, unlocking a pack, or reading any in-app text does not create a lawyer–client (or solicitor–client) relationship with the developer or any related person. No person reviews your records or your situation.

3. Not legal advice

The app does not tell you what action to take, what your rights are, or whether anything is a breach. Labels, links and descriptions are general information only, not advice tailored to your situation. Laws and practices change, and Queensland-focused wording may not apply elsewhere in Australia.

4. Forms and official documents

The app does not provide, reproduce or check official forms. Notice types are plain-English labels, and any form name is text you enter yourself. The app makes no claim that the pack is compatible with or complies with any RTA, QCAT or other requirements, including practice directions. Check current official forms and guidance yourself.

5. Reminders and deadlines

The app does not calculate legal deadlines or time limits. Reminder dates are ones you enter yourself, for your own use, and may not match any legal deadline. Check deadlines with the RTA, on any notice you receive, or with an adviser.

6. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of photos, dates, notes and other records you add; keeping your own backups; meeting any time limits or deadlines that apply to you; what you write about other people or businesses; and deciding what to share, lodge or send, and how.

7. Fingerprints and photo times

When the app shows a SHA-256 fingerprint for a file, the fingerprint shows the file hasn’t changed since it was added to the app. It does not show when, where or by whom a photo was taken, or that the photo wasn’t edited before it was added. Times marked “photo data” come from the photo file’s metadata (EXIF) and may be inaccurate; otherwise the time shown is when the file was added to the app.

8. No guaranteed outcome

The app does not guarantee any result in discussions with an agent or lessor, at the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA), in QCAT, or anywhere else.

9. No affiliation

Not affiliated with the RTA, QCAT or the Queensland Government. Tenancy Pack is not endorsed by or connected to any of them. Links to their websites are provided for convenience only.

10. Bond clean records

Bond clean records are private notes stored on your device. The app does not rate, review, publish or share information about cleaners or other businesses. They are only included in a Dispute Pack or ZIP if you explicitly tick the opt-in when exporting. If you choose to share your records, you are responsible for what they say.

11. Your data and privacy

Your records are stored on this device only (in the browser’s storage). They are not backed up automatically and the developer does not receive them. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; browsers and operating systems can clear site data (especially if the app is not installed to the home screen — on iPhone, use Share → Add to Home Screen). Settings shows whether storage is protected from automatic clearing. The app has no account, analytics or trackers, and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Outside links open only when you tap them. Packs and backups may contain personal information about other people (for example agent names and messages) — store them securely and only share them with people who need them. Exported photo copies have location data removed by default.

12. Payments

In this version, unlocking the Dispute Pack is a demo: no payment is taken. Any price shown is for testing only.

14. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (or other law) that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Where liability can be limited, and to the extent permitted by law, the app and materials are provided for organising purposes and the developer’s liability is limited to resupply of the service or the cost of resupply.
